&lt;strong&gt;Ohoud &lt;/strong&gt;, I am not sure what the reason is ... and I am not sure what the students' reaction to this has been. As far as what you've experienced in school ... so much for discipline. How pathetic!</description>

Anyhow, I recall in my school days,we were forbidden to walk (if you're late for the "estefaaf al sabahi",or talk when the "salam al malaki" and the flag was raised each morning, while on the other hand when The daily Qura'an was played it was perfectly normal to walk or talk , we werent even shushed.</description>

		<description>Generally, I would say that saluting one's flag and singing the national anthem everyday is a tad bit extreme for most societies. However, in the case of certain countries I can see why it's done and the need for it - Palestine being one of them where it is very important to keep people's sense of national identity since they are fighting for the existence of their state.</description>
