Yup, they prefer gifts from a secret admirer.

You're right about the sentimental gifts. It doesn't have to be an overblown expression of love, the simplest gestures tend to be the sweetest.

Ola, Hallmark says so

Rihab, So these surveyed ladies prefer to receive flowers from a secret admirer?

Hamzeh N. I don't know .. Other than the fact that it's pure commercial, Valentine's Day doesn't make any sense to me what-so-ever!

And actually, women hold great value and appreciation for sentimental - it's the thought that counts - gifts

"Be my anti-valentine"

Ok, say I'm gonna be somebody's anti-valentine, I assume that means that we won't be giving each other anything on Valentine's Day, right?

Now, does that include SMS? If we send each other SMS messages, does that mean we've broken the anti-valentine pact?

Coz if that's the case, then a simple SMS message should be enough as a gift on Valentine's Day between couples who take it seriously. No?

Something tells guys will appreciate this thought more than girls will.

eh! such bitter people *rolling eyes*

:F

But yeah everyday should be a Valentine. What's funny is that they did a survey here in Britain, which showed that most women disliked it when their partners sent flowers/chocolate to their workplace, but loved it when they didn't know who it was.

Exactly... why would celebrating love be confined to a specific date?
