With tax season all but over, accountants may want to whip out the disinfecting wipes. A University of Arizona study found that accountants have the second-germiest workplaces in America. (Teachers’ desks—no surprise—are the worst.) When accountants’ desks and cubicles were swabbed, they had 2.5 times more bacteria than doctors’ offices. Whose desks were cleanest? TV producers, consultants, publicists—and lawyers, (guess why?)  with seven times fewer germs than accountants.
