You’d think that if someone contacted you requesting to set up an appointment to meet with you outside office hours concerning class AND you confirm stressing the fact that you’re going to make plans to be there just to accommodate their needs that they’d actually show up…right? No…not my students! Do they even care to take a few minutes to send an email apologizing for not showing up? Of course not…that would be considerate!
December 3rd is Final Exam day … I have not designed the exam yet… and I’m actually contemplating the format of it …do I include 10-25 multiple choice questions and a 3 page essay – topic given in class? OR do I just make it a 4 page essay – topic given in class? After all, it is a writing class… they’ll have 3 hours and 15 minutes to finish the exam. That’s plenty of time…
