The girl in Doha picked my return ticket instead of the deaprature ticket. when i discovered that 1 days before my return flight, a girl in the QA office in Dubai wanted to charge me for a new ticket and make me wait for a flight back to Amman for three days! imagine.. the problem was solved when a friend of mine in doha (also a journalist) called senior QA people he knew there and they pressured the dubai QA office to give me A COPY OF MY TICKET... and i was able to go back home.. this however, cost me more than JD200 in phone calls in dubai to jordan and qatar.. at least RJ, when i lost my ticket in London were so nice to give me a copy of it immediately! i love RJ!! I absolutely love the direct 11.5 hour ride (but up until recently, hated stoping at O'Hare for a few hours on the way back. I just wanted to get back home faster... but it's alot better than sitting in Schipol for 8 hours to connect). And the passengers (well they're like the guy in your joke).... the most annoying, high maintenance, bunch of whiners I have come across. No one cares what their kids do and no one brings them activities they can do while flying. And what exactly don't passengers understand when they are told to "please remain in your seat until the aircraft has come to a complete stop and the captain has turned off the seatbelt sign". People start getting up before the airplane has even touched down. Are they going to beat the plane to the terminal or something?
