Our 1st snow storm of the season…I hate wearing coats and gloves, but I have to get winter ready - I really have to… :grin: .. physically and mentally!

All that wet snow missed us this morning…but Lansing, MI got hit pretty good.
The lights are flickering here and we have our own power plant…..hopefully we get to go home early :-)
That is only the begining of 4 seasons all within the same day….. you can look forward to next week when you’ll be enjoying the nice sunny 70 degree weather on Lake Shore followed by a 5 inch dusting of snow.

I can work from home too, but I’m not fully equipped for it just yet! (my vpn connection doesn’t work. ugh!)

Really bad snow storm today! i feel sorry for the ones who have to leave the house to go to work! Thank God i do not have to..I am staying home and keeping warm and cozy! Check out my pictrues on my blog.

It is a mess. Be careful of what you wish for. I know Amman will be closed for weeks if they get an inch (2.5 cm) of snow. :P

all are good. The problem of shoveling the snow, driving through it, dirty windshields, STUPID drivers and iced side walks is the negative part about having lots of snow.
Yeah I like eating ice, but I say I never tried snow. ???!!!???

well u should try eating snow.. i always put it with juice as well.. yummy…
well when it snows i dont leave my house as i live up a hill, and i am sure that if i go out, my car will slip with rocket speed down the hill… so what i do is stay home eat kastana and drink alot of hot chocolate.. yummy!

Kerr, I’m not coming tonight. I have plans. There was a meeting yesterday, I am almost positive. Maryam was there. and yes, stupid drivers… I admit though, I have a hard time staying in my own lane myself (and I am so far from being classified as a stupid driver - if I must say so myself) too when the pavement is covered with snow!
Moi, I’d be praying for all the snow to make its way your way :P

FIRST TIME. I ate snow.:D I got to try it with juice the next clean batch that is going to fall. The Experience: Teeth aching.
Kastana, is my favorite this time of the year. In the last month, I ate, no lying, few pounds of it. It tase great in the fire place.

Ola, just a few tips….Don’t under and circumstance eat the yellow snow. I tip I got long, long ago and one that has stuck with me all these years. And #2, when the weather outside is below freezing, don’t try to lick the flag pole, even if your best friend “Nathan” triple dog dares you to do it.

i usually lick the freezer ice and my tongue sticks and my husband calls 911, but i always survive it :P freaky to even think about it!

the first snow storm was wonderfull. school was cancelled so of course my kids were up at 6:30 am. But we had a great time, we went out and made snow angels, mine was the best I think, and then we made snow men, one in the front and one in the back, and then lit the fire place and had hot chocolate, all before 10:00 am. Overall, it was a beautiful way to spend the morning.
