Saad, then you're naturally hilarious..

Dima, I always used to listen to Quran before falling asleep...I haven't done so in lately...I will inshallah!

Kinzi, you're right

Hamzeh, that's right  ...

Rihab, it's much easier when taught in school then having to learn it on your own for many reasons!

moi, I always have Quran in my car..but when you commute with others and in their cars (remember the 740il is not mine. lol)it's hard to listen to what you want, when you want to.

Summer, thank you so much for your sweet wishes...wishing you and your family the very same :)

Glad you discovered the wonders of public transportation. Ours is called MetrO, and I hear it's better than yours ;) I take it to work everyday and I enjoy being able to do whatever I want instead of driving. The only thing I dislike are some of the people who ride it...there's definitely a post about this coming soon on my blog, lol.

Well, I have to agree with your mum. As a formerly religious person :F, I would like to say that you don't need to have been taught Islam at school to know the Quran - I learnt the vast the majority of chapters I know and read more tafseer, when I stopped taking Islamic studies lessons.

And yeah, it's funny how when you read old emails you view what was written in a whole different way... just goes to show that we usually tend to over-react to things we're going through.

I just felt it should be mentioned that the 740il is not Iman's car; it's her friend's :D

Yes, it's amazing how good God is to put up with us when we find anything else to do but read from His word. I find I get a hunger and thirst inside, (unless He sends a friend to tell me first!) and I go "Oh!" two days have gone by without remembering to read!

You can try downloading some 'sowar' and then before you sleep if the computer is in your room just leave the real player on while sleeping... I can't describe how amazing it would feel... it's the greatest feeling ever and you'll wake up feeling :) :) :)

Saad, why am I tempted to believe that you're being extremely sarcastic?
