Looking at it now, it seems a little bit rude and sarcastic. And for this I'm sorry. I was a little irritated at the implication that some Muslims might be considered abnormal. With regards to your question, I'm not entirely sure why but I think it may ahve had something to do with differing views on when 10 Dhul Hijja actually occurred. I know that most of the Arab run mosques here in Toronto had the Eid prayer on Saturday while the Pakistani controlled mosques had it on Sunday. It's kind of a shame. I think if we all celebrated on the same day, it would lead to a sense of more unity among the global Muslim community. It's sort of like some Muslim countries start Ramadan a day after others due to varying opinions regarding the lunar calendar.
