So, how do you see it?
December 29, 2006 | Category: Random thoughts, So?, Uncategorized
This ad randomly runs on Reuters Website …It doesn’t seem to depend on where in the page you are as much as the time of the day you visit. Rihab brought it to my attentin a few days ago … I couldn’t quite figure out what it’s all about…maybe it’s about Reuters’ readers’ perception? or starvation? maybe liposuction? I was curious, so I selected the first option…I was taken to ‘page not found’…I thought perhaps I chose the wrong answer, so I went back and selected the second option…I was taken to ‘page not found’ again…whatever it may be, that woman’s back and trying to figure out what this ad is all about really distracted me from concentrating on the way more pressing issues around the world…

on December 30th, 2006How about … freakishly, disgustingly, skeletonically thin!!!
YUCK!
Rebecca
on December 31st, 2006Definitely too thin (and very distracting), but I think Reuters’ point is not to take a pole, but to advertize themselves as a media source that brings you the issues and lets you draw your conclusions. (I.E. It’s just an ad and not a pole.)

on December 31st, 2006Q and Rana, I think overall she’s alright, but could definitely use a bit of curves
Hi Rebecca, interesting anaylsis…they should’ve disabled the check-boxes though!:)
Edit: Someone voted ‘never too thin.’ I wonder if it was a man or a woman
