straight out of the cave …

Under: Random Thoughts, How Outrageous, Ugh! @ 12:59 am on Wednesday, 01.24.07

I am not sure why such things really get to me…especially coming from demented, closed minded, ignorant, sick individuals…I know and I fully understand they shouldn’t, but some how they manage to piss me off! I had this unfortunate encounter with someone who, apparently, had escaped the cave he’s been stashed in for the past 30 years of his pathetic life…it went something along the lines of:

He It: Hi, how are you?
Me: Good, and you?
He It: I’m fine. So do you live in the area?
Me: Yeah, actually not too far from here at all.
It: We’re neighbors…
Me: I guess we are!
It: What do you do for a living? How old are you?
Me: Project manager. and I’m 28. you?
It: I own a business…I do have a degree. 30, I was born in Palestine though..
Me: I see. That explains your heavy accent
It: What do you mean? I speak good English. I write well too…
Me: Yeah you speak relatively well, but with a heavy accent. Good that you write well. I get a bit critical of someone’s writing. It’s almost as though I’m grading one of my student’s papers.
It: (obviously not understanding the humor in my tone!) You think I’m getting married for papers? I have my papers already and I don’t need to marry for papers.
Me: Excuse me?
It: I wouldn’t even marry you anyway..you’re too old and still single…if you were a good person with good manners you wouldn’t be single till now.
Me: really? papers? it seems you have a comprehension problem.
It: you said something about papers. I’m not after papers. and like I said, you’re too old. and still single. you’re not married till now because you’re not good.
Me: I’m not married till now because a lot of what’s out there are idiots like you!

Am I a jerk/idiot/messed up/screwed up/demented/low life/pathetic/crap/loser magnet?! life is not as interesting without a few bizarre, completely outrageous things happening every now and then, I guess! But seriously, someone should put him back in that cave!

Edited: This was a random encounter with a random person creature I came across in a relatively laid back setting that had nothing to do with marriage per se!

lol he’s so stupid! I’ve found out that I’m a magnet for psychos long time ago, oh and waiters and office boys just adore me (in a scary kind of way). I’ll tell you about it later.

Forget about this guy, he’s obviously an insecure dumbass.

Me: I see. That explains your heavy accent.

lol, I think all bets were off after that :D

Seriously, what was the purpose of pointing that out in the conversation? If you were getting to know the guy.

Oh my God Iman! :D

It looks you’ve pushed his buttons.
Okay, maybe this video would offer some explanation:

Seriously , he’s a total jerk. What’s wrong with this guy! He was rude (you are not married because you aint good)? What the?!!!

The sad part is, somewhere he’ll find an 18 something girl whose parents would marry to this jerk off. After shew grows up she’ll discover how miserable her life is, and pour her frustration on the kids and the cycle goes on.

You are way too better than these jerks, anyways don’t let this “male thing” get you down, and not all guys are like that jerk (the best you can get is 0.15 less jerkiness…:D

God Bless those papers!

Ok Averroes here’s the thing, I don’t know if you’re joking in a nice way or not (from a series of comments). So I’d prefer to think that it’s in a nice way and for that I’ll say: haha what you said is funny, really:)

But if you’re not saying it with sincerity, I’d rather not answer you and leave it as is.

I’d appreciate clarity.

Iman… REAL sorry, I’m having this comment on your blog.. Promise won’t do it again:)

Lubna,
When I joke..I’m always Joking in a nice way..I never joke in a bad way as I never insult people, nor do I intend to insult..either directly or indirectly..all my “sarcastic” comments are well inteded, or else I’d be just rude.

If I came across as being so..without me noticing, I appologize, since I was taught that respect is gained..it’s not given away.

Iman..Sorry for bringing this to your blog..as blogs are virtual homes of people.

Iman

01.25.07 @ 11:51 pm

LOOL, Firas that was hilarious!

Kinzi, eh, Mr. Right can take his time:p what line?

Lubna & Averroes, it’s alright … no worries:p
Hamzeh, it just went with the flow … I wasn’t getting to know him…he came across my way in a very casual laid back place!

Precious, it’s very nice seeing you here!:) unfortunately many think this way…but that’s okay;that’s the segment I wouldn’t wanna associate with what-so-ever!

kinzi

01.26.07 @ 2:43 am

Whoops, Iman, meant to erase the whole thing. The one about kissing a lot of frogs before you meet the handsome prince…but it didn’t seem worthy of being included in a sentence talking about God’s sovreignty, nor do you seem to be the kind who kisses duds.:)
28 is young, it’s the girls who marry at 16 that have something to worry about in these days.

Iman

01.26.07 @ 7:37 am

Kinzi, thanks…you’re right … our guys love’em young :D
I’ll be 29 very soon  imagine…29 years of ——- to come! lol

Hang in there, girl. I had my career and world travel first, then met my husband at 29. We were friends for two years, then fell for each other! You will make such a better wife having some life experience behind you. We also pick better men.
