That one thing!
What would a close one have to do in order for you to stop talking to her/him… completely?
…a question to the self..myself included!

1. Ignoring your calls or you meeting requests.
2. Disrespecting and or humiliating you publicly.
3. Talking to you in a condescending manner.
4. Blow off schedule meetings.
5. Not remembering important dates in your life, like B-Day etc.
6. Not sharing your happy or sad occasions.
7. Beat you up???
There are few signs, and I am sure there are other drastic signs to show this person does not want you to talk to them.

It depends on close
For me, close=Parents, siblings, and their children.
I would never stop talking to them … ever… no matter what happens.
Everyone else outside of this circle…. well depends on the issue. Some I wouldn’t give it a single second of thought. Some I would consider it

its like robert deniro in meet the parents .. you know the “circle of trust” thing .. once you’re out of the circle .. there’s no coming back in.

hmmmm.. Good question
For me it has to be something drastic, like doing something on purpose just for the sake of hurting me, and doing so continuously.

depends on who, the “rules of engagement” will differ from one person to another. there are ppl who i’m willing to wipe the slate clean countless number of times bcz i know that, ultimately, they are good ppl. others i’ll be less forgiving of bcz i know they have a streak of the dark side in them.
