Qwaider.. oh if that's the case then it's just amazing! :) Life would be fair enough// but it's not!! I don't think those who cause the hurt have an alive conscious! Most of them are dead from the inside.. and when a person is dead a closure wouldn't really mean a thing!

Q i have to disagree, its sometimes the other way around, sometimes a break up is inevitable coz a partner was hurt over and over and wont take it anymore so they drop the relationship.

Dima, Not sure that's the case. Many people feel guilty they've hurt someone and they know closure is never going to happen for them

Qwaider.. the victim would ALWAYS be the one seeking the closure!

The person who committed the hurt wouldn't care for such!

without a closure the person might keep living on a false hope... it's hard to let go when your mind keeps thinking of all the unanswered questions! You need the closure to open a new page.. a new chapter and MOVE ON>

I completely disagree with you, Men seek closure even more to be able to deal with rejection afterwards.
Even worse, men can't accept rejection in the regular sense.
Usually only one party seeks closure... sometimes it's the person committing the hurt, sometimes it's the victim.

Sometimes "forgive and forget" is a good option, especially if it's not worth it to begin with. Other times, if things happen all of the sudden with no explanations, out of the blue, you need answers. I guess "closure" is really just that, attempting to close up something that has been left open with no specific ending. I hate our need for closure too :S

I disagree.Closure is the only way out..the only way you let go of something and the only way you get a peace of mind..witghout closure, there will alaways be pain and suffering..closure is good..it allows for new beginnings.
