The top 5 must-haves in my own place:

A huge kitchen - I have an undying passion for cooking. I love to cook when I have the time. I pride myself in being able to make anything; which gives me the right to basically classify myself as an excellent cook (and many can attest to that) … but because not a single person out there is perfect, I do - surprisingly - admit failure even if it’s on very very rare occasions. So yeah, a huge kitchen is a must; I want a kitchen that accommodates my talents :D

A Library - I have a collection of books that date back from grade school, articles I’ve collected, my undergraduate and graduate books, newspaper clippings, poetry, recipes and a large variety of books ranging from art to religion of which 90% are boxed up and stashed somewhere on the shelves in the garage. I want to have a special room in my place that will house all these books and many more that I continue to buy. It will be a special treat for anyone who sets foot in it… I can see the quotes, the questions all over the wall! It will be the coziest room in my place with a very special motif that I have drawn out in my mind.

A Walk-in Closet - I need a lot of room for my shoes … and clothes … and accessories…and

A Mirror Ceiling - you know, I’ve always been intrigued by the novelty of having that! (I’ll discuss it more in detail tonight over argeeleh when x actually decides to show up!)

A Fitness Room - gotta hit the right spots so not to scare myself as I lay in bed staring at that mirror ceiling. :d

humble list:) as for the HUGE kitchen, it’s been always on my list since I really love to cook too, but surprisingly my VERY small kitchen is helping me do magic!! It’s not about the size of the kitchen, it’s about your passion for cooking:) and of course you need the fitness room after eating what you’ve cooked;)

I cant quick, so the kitchen is irrelevant to me. The library/den/office kinda room is a must, and the walk-in closet is more important to me than the bathroom I swear to God. In fact, it is going to be a walk-in ROOM for dressing - the word closet does not encompass the reality of what I have in mind. My shoes alone will be in glass cases. I have plans - BIG PLANS. :)

I’m with Nido on kitchens. Unless you want it to double as a sitting room, an over sized kitchen adds nothing to the house. Many love that.
I personally love my kitchen, I spend more time there than anywhere else, just enjoying my cooking, it’s my favorite relaxation method. And the end results are another source of joy.

Mirrors on the ceiling are quite, hmmm , well freaky! It’s like watching yourself sleep! Oh and what would you do when the glue, or the nails gave out eventually and the mirrors start falling!?

Make sure you live in an area that does not have earthquakes for that Mirror Ceiling :P

You do not want a Jacuzzi after an intense session in the Fitness room?
