After a loooong delay at O’Hare airport, I arrived to Jordan at 3 am this morning…It feels nice being here…but already, not even a day later, I cannot help but get annoyed at some things … like for example the exhaust that makes me feel so nauseous, or the cigarette smoke (though I’m an occassional smoker myself, I still cannot stand smoking inside public buildings), the men who act as if they’ve never seen a girl walk down the street, the honking of the horns and what tops it all is the guy who tried to trip me as I was walking down the street! I wanted to knock the wind out of him, but he was nice looking, so I let it go this time.

I’ll leave the pleasant and detailed accounts for a longer note when I’m over my jet lag!

[...] Well, finally I was able to remove all the junk that has been piled for weeks in the moderation queue by going into the database and deleting them from there…(thanks for the tip, Q)…unfortunately, in the process I deleted almost every single comment in ‘The nerve‘ post with the exception of a few … what’s surprising is out of all those that gotten deleted, Rihab’s did not! Very sorry to all whose comments have been mistakenly deleted… Anyway, I got back to Chicago last Sunday night. The flight was quite interesting … the person sitting next to me was very pleasant. She gave me her card. I called her today! The kid sitting a few seat across wanting to stab me with his plastic knife … the couple sitting across from me were definitely newlyweds…they definitely needed a room! [...]
