I hate - hate is actually an understatement - my train daily commute…

It disgusts me …

It is the worst thing to start my day off with …

and the worst thing to end my day with …

I don’t want to smell chicken wings at 8 am nor do I want to hear finger licking…Gross! use a napkin instead of your mouth…I touch the same rail your disgusting fingers touch! and who the hell eats chicken wings this early in the morning anyway?!

I don’t want to hear tasteless crappy rap at 8 am…they tell you to ‘please be considerate when listening to electronic devices as to not disturb other customers’…Secondhand music is way worse than secondhand smoking! it really is! don’t force everyone on the train to listen to your crap!

People stink in this city! They really need to start taking more showers in the week…

Annoying other people on the train is not a real job … beggars need to get another job!

One of the things I cannot stand what-so-ever is cinnamon. I hate it…the smell of it makes me wanna vomit! and it seems that every single damn morning and every single evening, someone on the crappiest trains in the entire States has to be chewing - like a cow - big red cinnamon gum! I am not kidding!

Whistling through out the entire train ride is aggravating … no one wants to listen to that mixed with humming, and crap rap, the smell of chicken wings, body odor AND cinnamon every day!!

I feel the need to soak myself in disinfectant daily…

I heard that the DC Metro is one of the cleanest in the country– I haven’t tried the others so I don’t know. But from hearing this, I guess I should be grateful. Eating and drinking are not allowed on the Metro, strictly enforced, so that definitely helps. But you can’t ban gross people who don’t have manners…
p.s. I’m sooooo tempted every single day to tell the person near me (or even at the end of the car) to lower their damn music b/c, yes, I can hear it 5 feet away!!! Do these people not understand the consequences of such torture to the ears?! But I never did…

Hi moi… hope you’re well …

Metra (suburban line) is perfect…doesn’t compare to the L - which is the city’s loop trains, which is out of Midway Staion… I used to take the metra when my work building was close to union station …it was a very convenient commute…but my work building is now on the other side of downtown and so metra was not an option… the L is disgusting, trust me on that!

PS I’m tempted to do that every single morning and evening! tempted to pull the earphones out of their ears and choke the life out of them with it!

Ahh, the CTA!
I ride both metra and CTA daily, and they both suck!
Metra is cleaner and more comfortable, but, women just love to talk @ 7 AM!

Why do you take both Metra and CTA? Metra isn’t bad actually… CTA is disgusting!

Cinnamon stinks (with all due respect to your zone.hahaha)

Last week I visited NYC. I was trying to get from station A to station B which should normally take 1 hour. It took 2 hours because I was lost for a whole hour. They have like 500 stations. Instead of 1 subway system map, you have like 50 ! Arrrrrrrrrgh !
