Always, with a Smile..
Through endless demands and vulgar curses and even when you feel your strongest desire to strangle your customer, client, co-worker, always remember that a smile can come a long long long way… ask Melina Salazar … one of her cantankerous customers left her $50,000 and a car… She had always made sure his food was as hot as he wanted, even if it meant he burned his mouth. And she smiled through his demands and curses. The 89-year-old Walter “Buck” Swords obviously appreciated it![source] …
Lilian, remember that next time one of your own cantankerous customers walks into your office … you never know, maybe he or she will reward you as their beneficiary! And let’s always remember that: In a dangerous world where hatred and terror are real threats requiring constant vigilance, don’t forget the power of a smile and some shared laughter. The hatred and terror divide us. The smiles and laughter bind us. And if you think that’s too naive a thought at too dangerous a time, then you have my sympathy. ~ Jim Axelrod, CBS News…
Wishing everyone - everywhere a 2008 full of joy, peace, laugher and smiles!:)
