So far on the list:

Adam

Dean

Please share, as baby is on his way and we (I am part of ‘we’ as I am the sister wife) are no where close to agreeing on a name! So Your help is greatly appreciated.

salam, I like zaid too … My nephews names are: Hani, Omar, Ahmed, Ali, Mohamed, and (Sammy)Khaled (both parents were stubborn about the name so they hyphenated it) … never heard of Sari … but sounds nice and has a nice meaning too. I will let you know what name the baby gets inshallah:)

Tala, yes all are nice names … I like Naji and Ramez too… Ghassan, hmm well… I tend to associate names with people I’ve met, knew, know…and this name doesn’t bring back too pleasant of memories…

Well, its my first time in your page. Let me suggest you, I am also thinking about names.. And as a brazilian, I could help a bit:)

Ali is a great name

Muhammad, Ahmed - is also good, specially for the sake of Islam

Imran is good, combines with your name Iman and has relation with Mariam, which could be your option for girl in future, inshAllah

Anas, Kassem, Karim, Amin, Abbas.. - short and easy names

Tarik, Taha ..- from the Quran, nice too

Mansoor - kind name and lovely name, i`ve known only good people with this name

Nagib, Omar - reminds a strong personality

Danyal, Ishaq, Issa, Mussa - names that have a relation with christians or jews

Hassan - a very beautiful name, easy for brazilians and anyone to speak..

May Allah bless your effort, Ameen.

cool! this will be helpful as i’ll soon be having a nephew, and my sis & husband can’t seem to agree on a name, since they want a name that’s Arabic but also easy for a non-Arabic speaker to pronounce since her husband is American, or alternatively, they could have a name that can be alternated between Arabic and English, so here are some ideas we came up with (don’t you love how i made this all about my sister :F):

Wael
Raed
Nabil
Yassin
Adam
Daniel
Fares
Noo7/Noah
Yusef/Joseph
Ilyas/Elijah
Is7aq/Isaac
Yunis/Jonas
Thulqarnain/Alexander
Thulkifl/Buddha

i’m kidding with the last two :F
