They are amazing experiences. Many people I know from “worker bees” to senior VP’s have taken time out to go on such experiences from my company. Do you work for a company that allows you to do such things, while they hold your position for your return, continue to pay your salary, and at the same time paying for your volunteer trip. I’m hoping to ship out 4Q2009!
