When/If
For bilingual people out there… when you - and if you actually do - think, what language do you usually think in?

I was just talking to my brother about this yesterday. Yes, I think in Arabic first then speak in English.

It depends on the thought, if it’s an exotic thought I tend to use Hawaiian, Aloha Ahiahi!

LOL @ Ammar
Actually, I think I use both. I guess it depends on the thought itself. Sometimes it sounds better in Arabic, and other times it sounds better in English
Lately though I noticed that I use English more often. To my surprise, when I faced an emergency the other day, I found myself speaking in English. I did not have time to think, I just started going like ‘Oh my God’ and mumbling stuff. It is interesting because I have always thought that people act most naturally when in emergencies and they tend to rely on what they learned from their -first- adopted culture whether it is a language, a tradition, or anything else.

it depends on the place!
No seriously I have no clue why is the way it is with me.. but it all depends on the place, and a little bit on the mood too!

at work English even if I’m in Jordan
otherwise, Arabic.
If you wanna know what language you think in, see which language you cuss in and it would be the same

For me it depends on what language i am currently speaking and on what topic.
