In light of the most recent events in… yes! Gaza, I was just wondering how Victory is defined …

Anybody?

Thanks in advance,

Good question. Victory should be defined before the beginning of war, when you set goals before you get involved in any military combat. After the end of war you see if you’ve achieved your goals and conculde if you’ce achieved a great victory, a partial victory, or defeat.
For Arabs, it’s always a great victory by the will of God.

victory….the space marked by the lesser of the two losers, as determined by the viewing public

In war there is no such a word as victory. Not as far as my mind can comprehend, because no matter the result we obtain we should never underestimate the number of the victims and the damages left behind. When the wasted blood becomes the cost, victory vanishes.
